Brett Antle is a Partner at Commonwealth Economics and has over 30 years of professional experience in financial consulting, government finance and accounting. Since joining the firm in 2013, Mr. Antle has provided quantitative and financial analysis on numerous projects, including sports facilities, transportation infrastructure, public-private partnerships for a variety of mixed-use commercial developments, public pension employer buyouts, higher education facilities, and the now landmark Kentucky vs PokerStars lawsuit.
Before joining the firm, Mr. Antle spent over 20 years in public service working for the Commonwealth of Kentucky. During that time, Mr. Antle served in various roles within the Office of State Controller where he managed the implementation of several financial, reporting and eCommerce systems. Before retiring in 2012, he served the last several years of his public career as the Deputy Executive Director of the Office of Financial Management where he managed the Commonwealth’s appropriation-supported debt programs and participated in the structuring and issuance of several billion dollars of taxable and tax- exempt bonds.
Over the years, Mr. Antle has also worked as an independent consultant on several other governmental financial system projects, including state-level system implementations for Alabama and Michigan.
Mr. Antle received his Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from the University of Kentucky and is a licensed Certified Public Accountant in Kentucky.
